Believe it or not, Constance was not the first humanoid character that I developed, that title goes to Stella Lompoc Colborne microscopics-untd.deviantart.c… , and Marie Nanticoke. 


Constance was initially inspired by renowned 1980's British Pop Singer Kim Wilde. I decided to name her Constance, after my late great aunt Constance Teshner. However, finding a surname for Constance was a major league headache, and various surnames were considered including Porter, Franklin, Dampierre, Lafuchex, La Roche, Saltfleet, Saltwick, Radcliffe, and Brathwaite. Ultimately the surname "Pyestock" was chosen, but later on I began to reject the name. Only afterwards did I decide on something that I should have done at the beginning. As I mentioned, Constance was inspired by Kim Wilde, so I came up with the surname "Wilder", a play on Kim's surname. Ultimately, the surname "Wilder" stuck, and remains the official surname for Constance. Constance was originally going to have one twin sister by the name Louise, but later on I decided that Louise should be a separate character, and so she became a whole new character by the name of Louise Cunningham. Constance ultimately ended up with 5 twin siblings, 4 sisters and a brother. The sisters being Desmanaux (Her favourite sister and the only sister who closely resembles Constance.), Heather, Helena, and Randy, and the only brother, Martin. 


Constance's best friends include Stella Colborne, Kelly Rankin, Ferris Featherstone, Ingrid Bancroft, Miriam Corbiel, Marie Nanticoke, Selena Drex, Piney Concord, and Avalon and Eleanor Bellevue. 


Constance suffers from a severe case of Night Blindness, rendering her completely blind in poor light and even in daylight hours when the light is poor. To help her see in the dark and during times of poor lighting, the Optometrist made her a special pair of glasses fitted with a special pair of light adaptive lenses that work in poor light, helping her to see 100% properly even in total darkness, during the night and in dark areas. A pair of contacts made from the same type of Lenses were also given to her for use in areas that don't require the glasses or when she doesn't want to wear the glasses while attending a formal gathering.


Key features of Constance include her blonde hair (An element borrowed from Kim Wilde), her strong Estuary English Accent (Since she comes from Canvey Island.), her love for stripes (An element taken from Kim Wilde), teardrop shaped earrings, and her predominantly pescatarian diet. 


Constance loves the ocean more than anything else, which earned her ownership shares in Jarvis Town's massive MarineLand Oceanarium/Aquarium Complex, and the fact that she is the No.1 Best Swimmer in the world, undefeated.


Constance is also known by her many nicknames including "Connie" (A nickname she greatly detests), "Salty" (A pet name given to her by her boyfriend Donahue Trent (Who was inspired by Harry Potter), "Little Miss Dangerous", "Candy Girl", "Blondie", and "Torpedo Constance" (Due to her incredible swimming skills)".
